The Premedical Office at Florida A&M University provides systematic and comprehensive application advice/support to FAMU students (regardless of major) who are interested in careers in the health fields.
The term "premed” refers to a minimum schedule of required/recommended courses for students applying to professional degree programs in medicine, osteopathic medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry, podiatry, and related health fields. Students who are interested in pursuing pharmacy at FAMU are advised by the College of Pharmacy, not the Premedical Office. -
FAMU students who wish to receive structured advising from the Premedical Office should have an active university email address on file in the Premedical Office.
Currently enrolled students should register with the Premed Office by scheduling an appointment with Mr. Fran Scott at fran.scott@famu.edu. Office located 104 University Commons
