Opportunities for Careers in Mathematics
Research with Dr. Vasile Lauric: Dr. Vasile Lauric is looking for:
a. Students from STEM majors (Math/Physics preferred) to participate in some projects
with the Sandia National Lab. Funding is available starting now at a rate of $12.5/hr
for Fall and Spring semesters, and for students participating in the internship at
Sandia National Lab during Summer of 2026, the payment consists of $9,500.
b. One student to participate with a presentation at the annual AMS meeting and/or other
conferences. This student will make the presentation and will be funded.
