The College of Science and Technology is dedicated to preparing students to be scholars and leaders by providing open atmospheres where students encounter patient and fair individuals who are caring, passionate, and vested in their success. Our faculty use relevant techniques and pedagogy to strengthen student capability to solve problems independently - producing responsible citizens focused on contributing to science and technology to enhance society.

Established in 2018 to provide guidance and comprehensive support to students (regardless of major) who are interested in professional degree programs in medicine, osteopathic medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, physician assistant, optometry, and related fields.

FAMU serves as the Florida Georgia Louis B. Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (FGLSAMP) hub for 14 higher education institutions collaborating to increase the underrepresented STEM graduates.
